Cooper Park Tennis Centre (Off Suttie Rd., Cooper Park, Bellevue Hill. 02/9389-9259) is a complex of eight synthetic-grass courts in a park surrounded by an expansive area of native bushland, about 5 km (3 mi) east of the city center. Weekday court fees are A$22 per hour from 7 AM to 5 PM and A$27 per hour from 6 AM to 10 PM. On Saturday they are A$26 until 5 and A$27 afterward; Sunday A$26 until 1 and A$18 afterwards. Parklands Sports Centre (Lang Rd. at Anzac Parade, Moore Park, Centennial Park. 02/9662-7033. www.cp.nsw.gov.au/aboutus/sports.htm) has 11 courts in a shady park approximately 2½ km (1½ mi) from the city center. The weekday cost is A$16.50 per hour 9-5 and A$22 per hour 5 PM-10:30 PM; it's A$22 per hour 8 AM-6 PM on weekends.
