Bungaree Station Review
Your journey back to colonial Australia begins at check-in at this family-owned farm; the reception area is in the original station store. Outlying cottages and the Heritage-listed stables beside the stone homestead have been converted into family-friendly accommodations, some with shared facilities. Rooms have fans only and can heat up in summer; wood-burning, slow-combustion stoves give winter warmth. Take time exploring the property; down the hill is an unusual sandstone woolshed. Bungaree is popular with groups, and may be booked up for private functions.
