When to Go

Temperatures average 15.6°C (60°F) between May and September with chillier nights, and 20°C (68°F) to 29°C (80°F) December to February. From December through March, expect heavy rains. Temperatures run slightly cooler inland. Sea- and reef-side Queensland tends to fill up from mid-December through January, and can also be heavily booked in July, September, and throughout Easter. There's no Daylight Saving Time in the state.
