Australia's largest marine theme park, Sea World lets visitors get up close and personal with its resident dolphins, fur seals, sea lions, Fairy penguins, and polar bears (including new cub, Henry!). Hand feed the 100-plus eagle, manta, and sting rays at Ray Reef, or take a walk through Shark Bay, the world's largest artificial lagoon system for sharks, where a state-of-the-art dual enclosure system keeps dangerous tiger sharks in one section and harmless reef sharks, rays, and fish in another. Patrons can dive in the latter, and get close-up views of the former through the massive windows that separate the lagoons. If you're after even more of a thrill, jump onboard The Sea Viper, Jet Rescue, or new Storm roller coasters, or make a splash at the park's various waterslides and interactive pool areas. Take a break and take in the view from the Sky High cable cars, or speed around the park on Sea World Monorail. Whatever you do, don't miss the daily Jet Stunt Extreme show, featuring the gravity-defying talents of the world's top Jet Ski stunt performers. Accomodation packages are offered at the adjacent Sea World Resort.
