Halse Lodge Review

This National Heritage–listed 1880s guesthouse, now functioning as a trendy beachside backpackers' lodging, is nestled among two acres of gardens on the edge of Noosa National Park. Vintage photographs of Noosa decorate the large, functional rooms. Private double and triple-share rooms and bunk rooms that sleep four or six people all have shared bathrooms (from A$29 per person, per night). The restaurant serves daily breakfasts and dinners, and there's a bar on-site with live music on weekends. Staff regularly organize "game nights" and other social get-togethers for guests. Reservations are essential.
