Magnetic Island Sea Kayaks. On these eco-friendly kayaking trips around Magnetic Island's quieter bays, you might spot turtles, dolphins, dugongs, sea eagles, ospreys, and, mid-July through mid-September, migrating whales and their calves. Two excursions are schedued daily: a leisurely 4½-hour morning tour of beaches, coves, and bays; and a twilight paddle around Horseshoe Bay with a stop for sunset drinks.
