Fodor's Review

Cooktown's historical museum, staffed by affable volunteers, is appropriately housed in one of the town's oldest buildings, a former postal and telegraph office built in 1875. The building holds Cooktown's archives and is a research center for local history; it also houses semi-permanent displays.
