This clean, quiet seafront establishment has five categories of accommodation, some newer than others: standard rooms with older TVs and no kitchenettes; semi-self-contained rooms with microwave and sink; newer "deluxe" motel rooms with large flatscreen TVs and lounge/dining areas; a self-contained family unit; and split-level townhouses that have two bedrooms, full kitchens with dishwashers, separate lounge and dining areas, and large flatscreen TVs. All styles of accommodation
are equipped with Foxtel cable channels, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, kettles, fridges, toasters, and furnished balconies or patios. The best rooms are upstairs, overlooking Cooktown Harbour. Sit out front on lawn furniture for fine views of the harbor and hills—you can buy beer, wine, and soft drinks at reception, and there are BBQ and car-washing facilities on-site—or cool off in the clean, sun-shaded pool. It's an easy stroll to the town center.
