Milkwood Lodge Rainforest Retreat Review
Six pole cabins oriented for seclusion provide breezy, split-level accommodation overlooking rain forest and bushland at this user-friendly tropical retreat. Cabins that aren't air-conditioned have ceiling fans; all have equipped kitchenettes, comfy beds and large verandas. The Lodge's lush gardens are atwitter with birdlife and have lovely views of Mount Cook. Chill under the waterfall in the saltwater pool, relax by moonlight at the licensed alfresco bar, and cook the day's catch on the BBQ. There's a helpful tour desk, and you can hire boats, dinghies and 4WDs on-site.
