Sails Restaurant
Sails Restaurant Review
Set right on Catseye Beach, this airy beach shack bistro serves three good-quality meals daily with a choice of beachfront or poolside dining. The Modern Australian-International menu is a crowd-pleaser, with pasta, salads, and surf-and-turf dishes—perhaps pan-fried reef fish or Scotch fillet with beer-battered fries. The seafood platter is A$70 per person. Dessert could be apple pie, cheesecake, mud cake, or a citrus tart with mixed berries. Breakfast, if it's not included in your room rate, is A$34. There's also a good kids' menu and a giant chess set to keep older offspring occupied between courses. After dinner, catch some live jazz or a local band.
