Port Douglas markets

Fodor's choice

Local growers and artisans gather on Sunday mornings in Port Douglas's waterfront park to sell fresh tropical produce and gourmet goodies, arts and crafts, handmade garments, precious-stone jewelry, books, and souvenirs. The atmosphere is relaxed, the crowd is colorful, and there's plenty of variety.

The Reef Marina

Port Douglas's sparkling marina houses specialty and souvenir shops, a handful of restaurants and bars, and service outlets, including the offices of various cruise, dive, and tour operators. Luxury yachts, dive and cruise boats, and fishing vessels, some available for day trips and charters, fill the busy 115-berth marina. On Wednesday afternoon (2–7 pm) and on days when cruise ships are in port, Sunset Markets with local arts, crafts, jewelry, food, and live music, are held on the marina deck.
