Fine landscaping, pools, barbecues, and plenty of sunny areas in which to relax enhance this classy colonial-style complex of vacation apartments, which opens directly onto a large, white-sand beach. Each vast apartment has a large private veranda, a comfortable sitting and dining area, and one, two, or three bedrooms with king-size beds. The furnishings, custom-designed and completely modern, are more luxurious still since their 2007 refurb; kitchens have granite-top counters, and there are laundry facilities in every apartment. The spa has open-air pavilions and is staffed by gentle Thai therapists, most trained at Banyan Tree Phuket. Far Horizons restaurant fronts Palm Cove Beach and serves excellent modern International cuisine. There's a helpful tour desk and guest library.
