Fodor's Review:

With an ultraminimalist lobby featuring golden-orb chandeliers and suede chaise longues, this resort is Cairns's hippest place to stay. Everything about the property exudes elegance: outside, there are extensive wooden decking and swimming pools shaded by palms; inside, rooms are decorated in muted colors, and have flat-screen TVs and flow-through views of the pool, gardens, city, and the surrounding mountains, bay, or marina. Upmarket Sirocco Restaurant offers "Tropical North Queensland" cuisine with views of Trinity Inlet and Marlin Marina on the side. Cocktails and snacks are available at the Poolside Cafe. Should you decide to tear yourself away from the on-site facilities, the savvy concierge and tour desk can arrange your entertainment, such as a reef excursion from the adjacent marina.
