$$-$$$$, Australian, Palm Cove
Fodor's Review:
The sexy suede lounges and intimate banquettes, combined with the unspoiled view of Palm Cove beach, make lingering easy at this spot adjacent to the Outrigger Beach Club. (The spicy-sweet vanilla-ginger mojitos help, too.) The chef, decamped from Melbourne, prides himself on an ever-changing menu featuring Aussie seafood creations with a cutting-edge, flavorful twist, such as blue swimmer crab tortellini or poached yellow fin tuna with crispy southern octopus, plus duck, lamb, and beef dishes, and interesting vegetarian options: try the "Millionaires" salad of shaved palm hearts, baby herbs, and chili. Nunu's big breakfasts feature organic produce with home-made breads and pastries (daily 8-noon).
