The ocean's bounty is the focus at this innovative waterfront restaurant. The grilled Moreton Bay bugs with mango and fresh coconut are just the right combination of smoky and buttery; a delectable Asian-style "fruits of the sea" includes scallops, prawns, barramundi, and reef fish. Confit of duck, roasted lamb rack, and beef tenderloin on horseradish mash are other crowd-pleasers. The food is a pleasure to linger over, and creative cocktails make dinner here more magical still. For A$150, you can get a chilled seafood feast, including Moreton Bay bugs, mud crab, salad, and tropical fruit, to eat in or take away: perfect for beach picnics.
