Four Mile Beach is just a short walk from this bustling, Balinese-inspired resort and spa. Terra-cotta tiled floors contrast nicely with warm teak furnishings, cedar bifold doors, and Balinese-style fabrics in each spacious apartment (choose from studio, 1- or 2-bedroom, some with hot tubs and dual bathrooms). Most have daybeds, and private, lockable balconies affording views of the lush gardens, Mossman Gorge, and the mountains beyond. You can hire VCRs and DVD players from reception. If you haven't already gotten your fill of rain and mud, try the Li'Tya day spa's relaxing local-ochre wraps and rain therapy treatments, which incorporate native ingredients and indigenous healing techniques. An excellent tropical breakfast with à la carte options is served by the resort's second pool; at other times, you can order drinks from the resort's bottle-shop menu. Friendly, knowledgeable staff mean service here is comparable to that at the region's luxury resorts.

As Americans we found prices to be quite high in comparison for the same value in the States. So we thought the daily room rate to be on the high side for what we got. HOWEVER, we liked this hotel very much. Maybe we could have gotten a similar one for a better value, but not sure.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool and gardens relaxing. The room was extremely comfortable, with a nice kitchen set up and large roomy bathroom. There is a little balcony/patio that provide a nice spot to relax outside the room.
The nicest part for us, was it was within walking distance of the town and beach. We didn't use our car except, sadly when we had to drive out of town!
