Spread out at the foot of Mt. Coolum, this is one of the best health resorts in Australia. Accommodations, grouped in low-rise clusters throughout the sprawling complex, include studio suites, two-bedroom villas, and luxurious three-bedroom residences. Villas and residences have kitchens and laundry facilities; residences also have rooftop terraces and hot tubs. The Sun Spa, given a facelift in 2007, has pools, aerobics/yoga/Pilates area, a supervised gym with state-of-the-art equipment, hot tubs, a hair and beauty salon, and dozens of pampering treatments. There's also a tennis center and a golf pro shop. McKenzie Grill serves a juicy steak; Bruschetta, open all day, serves Mediterranean-inspired dishes. A shuttle will transport you around the 370-acre property.
