Old St. Stephen's Church

  • Address: Elizabeth St. near Creek St., City Center, Brisbane, Queensland | Map It

Fodor's Review:

The tiny 1850 church that adjoins St. Stephen's Catholic Cathedral is Brisbane's oldest house of worship, and a particularly fine example of Gothic Revival architecture. The church is believed to have been designed by Augustus Pugin, a noted English architect who designed much of London's Houses of Parliament. The church is not open to the public.
