Fodor's Review:

Walking paths stretch across green lawns toward the Doric Greek Revival shrine constructed of Queensland sandstone. An eternal flame burns here for Australian soldiers who died in World War I. Equally spine-tingling is the Shrine of Remembrance, where a subsurface crypt stores soil samples collected from battlefields on which Australian soldiers perished. On April 25, Anzac Day, a moving dawn service is held here in remembrance of Australia's fallen soldiers.
