Part of an entertainment complex in the heart of Cairns, this hotel has rooms and suites—as well as gambling tables, several bars, and a nightclub. This is the place to stay if having a big room is a priority. Accommodations have tropical-style ceiling fans, louver doors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and garden balconies. Pacific Flavours Brasserie gives a fresh, flavorsome spin to International cuisine, while Tamarind serves Asian-inspired cuisine. Flinders Bar & Grill is a suprisingly inexpensive and tasty dining option for such an upscale hotel.
