In the heart of Surfers Paradise, this hotel is a block from the beach, with views of the Pacific Ocean or the Gold Coast hinterland from almost every one of the luxurious rooms, all refurbished in 2006-2007. If the beach seems too far, there's a heated pool with a swim-up bar. Wander down from your relaxed, beachy quarters to the stylish lobby bar or the Yamagen Japanese Restaurant, where the entertaining chefs perform culinary magic at teppanyaki tables.
