Like the Conrad Treasury Casino one block to the north, this National Heritage-listed hotel represents a beautiful sandstone example of Edwardian baroque architecture. Rooms have 18-foot-high ceilings, colonial furniture, and large, luxurious bathrooms as well as flat-screen TVs with pay movies, Internet, and Sony PlayStation games. Deluxe suites have mosaic fireplaces, separate lounge areas, and private balconies. The hotel has five very different restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, bars for all occasions and 24-7 action.
