The city's most stylish seafood restaurant has fantastic views of the Brisbane River and the Story Bridge. The kitchen prepares everything from fish-and-chips to seasonal steamed crabs. Only the freshest catches appear here, such as oysters delivered daily and shucked to order. Try the local prawns or Moreton Bay bugs, as well as barramundi and mud crabs, in season. A full vegetarian menu is also available.

Chef gone mad

I just cannot believe what I was eating - the best of Australian produce - fresh and excellent smothered in salty over powering sauces.
If the ingredients were not so fresh I don't think we could have eaten any of it.
The nightmare started with the complimentary starter. The waiter said it was consumme. I was hungry and took a large sip. I was in shock. I thought I was drinking soy sauce - high grade soy sauce but still sauce. We returned it and it came back as watered down hotter (temperature) sauce.
The salads were also very salty. I would describe it as European standards salty. Like the food in Switzerland. This was followed by Baramundi wings which is the side fins of the baramundi. The fish itself was very fresh and I could imagine it cooked with a light covering of lemon juice and salt. But it came smothered in a heavy salty Sichuan sauce. The baby chicken was excellent, once the skin was removed to get rid of the over powering seasoning. We decided to cut loss at this point and didn't order coffee or dessert.
