Fodor's Review:

The 40-acre Cohunu (pronounced co-hu-na) lets you cuddle with a koala. But the other native animals, such as emus and wombats in their natural surroundings, are worth visiting, too. The walk-through aviary is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, and there's also a kid-friendly miniature railway and a revolving restaurant that overlooks the city.

  • Cost: A$22
  • Open: Daily 10-5, koala cuddle with photo souvenir daily 10-4
