Visitors to this spot can never seem to decide what's more spectacular: the delicious seafood or the gorgeous setting on the Swan River, overlooking yachts and mansions. The hip bar and oyster bar are popular, but the reliably excellent daily menu is the real draw here. While gazing at a squadron of pelicans lazily gliding over the river, you can feast on Abrolhos Island scallops and tiger prawns with chili coriander butter; grilled Rottnest crayfish with garlic prawns and lemon sauce; or boneless sand whiting fillets, lightly fried in a crisp beer batter. Reservations are essential. The restaurant is a 15-minute cab ride from town.
