Fodor's Review:

Although Perth's original five-star hotel is now dwarfed by adjacent steel-and-glass office buildings, which obstruct the once-excellent river views from many rooms, the opulence of this hotel is evident from the moment you enter the foyer; rich wood paneling, parquet floors, and many antiques—including Chinese silk tapestries and Mussolini's mirror (near the elevator)—immediately surround you. Many rooms have private balconies. Suites have crystal chandeliers, gilt mirrors, deep-pile carpeting, and luxurious marble bathrooms. There's personal service around the clock, and a 24-hour business center.
