Fodor's Review:

Created for snorkelers and divers, the Albany Artificial Reef is set on the former Royal Australian Navy ship HMAS Perth. Most of the original ship is intact, including the mast, forward gun, and the main radar dishes. It was scuttled in 100 feet of water in King George Sound; a scuba permit is required to dive at the site. Albany Dive (08/9842-6886) has daily scuba dives to the reef (times depending on weather and demand) from A$150, including full hire gear.

  • Cost: A$7.50
  • Open: Daily, daylight hrs
