Clairault Wines

Fodor's Review:

Clairault Wines is one of the region's best wineries, known for its cabernet/merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and semillon. The property's manicured lawns and charming gardens are floodlighted after dark. The spacious restaurant has glass doors that swing back for expansive views in warm weather, while two huge stone fireplaces warm the tables in winter. The menus are innovative, and include duck and smoked chorizo terrine, with peach and fennel salad; gin-glazed pork belly, with tonic dressing, lime, and apple salad; and a local venison loin with parsnip and a crab ravioli.
