Dardanup

Fodor's Review:

Dardanup is a small gathering of historic 19th-century buildings nestled at the entry point to the Ferguson Valley. If you take the winding Ferguson Valley Road up into the Darling Scarp, you'll discover wineries, art and crafts galleries, and farm-stay lodgings. The best time to come is between April and November, when the pastures are green from seasonal rains. Willow Bridge Estate (Lot 4, Gardincourt Dr. 08/9728-0055) is open daily 11-5. Ferguson Falls Wines (Pile Rd., 2 km [1 mi] from Ferguson Valley Rd. 08/9728-1083) is open weekends 10-5. Dardanup is 20 km (12 mi) inland from Bunbury.
