Fodor's Review:

The Rottnest Island Railway Train, known as the Captain Hussey, is an ideal way to see the island. The route from the Main Settlement to Oliver Hill is run daily at 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30, with extra services at 10:30 and 11:30 during summer months, and connects with a guided tour of the historic Oliver Hill gun battery. The fare is A$16.60 and includes the guided tour. The train fare without the guided tours is A$11.80. Tickets are available at the visitor information center.
