Fodor's Review:

Comprising one of the world's largest musical instruments, the 12 ancient bells installed in the tower are originally from St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church of London, England. The same bells rang to celebrate the destruction of the Spanish Armada in 1588, the homecoming of Captain James Cook in 1771, and the coronation of every British monarch. The tower contains fascinating displays on the history of the bells and bell ringing, and provides stunning views of the Perth skyline.

  • Cost: A$10
  • Open: Daily 10-4:30; bell-handling demonstrations (single bell) Wed. and Fri. 11:30 AM-12:30 PM; full bell ringing Sat.-Tues. and Thurs. noon-1 PM. Flat, closed shoes must be worn for access to the observation deck; strollers, large bags, backpacks, and bulky items are not permitted in the tower
