Most luxury hotels in Perth have upscale nightclubs that appeal to the over-30 crowd. Apart from these, however, nightlife in the city center is virtually nonexistent. Twentysomethings most often head to Northbridge, Subiaco, or Fremantle. Pubs and bars generally close by 11 PM, which is when the crowds start arriving at the nightclubs; these tend to stay open until around 5 AM.
