Fodor's Review

With its chandeliers, gleaming cappuccino machine, and bas-relief figures above the booths, this wood-paneled 1916 art-deco café was a favorite Blue Mountains eatery in its heyday. Today visitors come more for the 52 varieties of homemade chocolates and the Devonshire Teas (a spread of scones, jam, cream, and a pot of tea). Owner Robyn Parker, who took over in 2011, is gradually restoring the café to its original glory—she's reopened the elegant cocktail bar at the rear of the building and stages a variety of events during the year, including Regency dances, 1920s tango nights, and screenings of classic movies.
