Fodor's Expert Review Quest Serviced Apartments Potts Point

15 Springfield Ave., Sydney, New South Wales, 2011, Australia

Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.

This stylish, early 1920s–style boutique hotel is tucked down a laneway in hip Potts Point on the eastern fringe of the city, an ideal base for exploring the eastern suburbs. Petite suites are small hotel rooms perfect for a short stay; the studios with either one or two queen beds have fully equipped kitchenettes. In-house movies and Wi-Fi are free, and there's a complimentary on-site laundry. The hotel has a deal with the adjacent café, Petrol, where guests can eat breakfast and charge it back to the hotel; they also have charge-back arrangements with three nearby restaurants ideal for dinner. Before venturing out into the night, guests should take advantage of the fantastic rooftop terrace (open until 11 pm), savoring the city view with a pre-dinner (BYOB) drink. The staff are friendly and will even go pantry shopping at the nearby supermarket.
