Although fine food and shopping malls don't usually go hand-in-hand, North has turned this theory on its head. Bécasse has been slimmed down to an elegant 25-seat restaurant with an 8-seat chef's table and placed adjacent to North and wife Georgina's

new food emporium, cooking school, Bécasse Bakery, and another casual-style eatery called Quarter 21. Dinner is now a three-course à la carte menu ($120), a five-course degustation ($150) or a nine-course degusation ($190) with matching wines at extra cost.
