The Midnight Shift is Sydney's hard-core party zone, a living legend on the gay scene for its longevity and its take-no-prisoners approach. If anything, the upstairs nightclub, with drag acts and shows every night of the week and DJs every other night, is a little quieter than the ground-floor bars, where most of the leather-loving men go to shoot pool. Opening hours are weekdays from 4 pm until late; weekends from 2 pm.
