When you finish the famous Bondi-to-Bronte coastal cliff walk, this is a great place for a meal. By day it's a casual café, but at night it becomes more formal, thanks to white linen tablecloths and tea lights. The crispy soft shell crab with green mango salad makes a great light lunch. When the sun goes down, listen to the surf and order a cocktail, or a glass of one of the many New South Wales wines, as you ponder seasonal menu delights such as Alaskan king crab with tortellini sweet corn, avruga caviar, and crispy pancetta. If you'd prefer to sup in nearby Bronte park, the new adjacent Bronte Cucina serves casual dine-in or dine-out meals (such as homemade gnocci with gorgonzola sauce) from 5–10 pm.
Swell is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the summer months (December to February).
