Set on a tree-lined street in one of Melbourne's picturesque bay-side areas, this 1880 property has seven guest suites, all of them immaculate and furnished with opulent antiques. Each suite is named after a prominent Australian figure; the Henry Lawson, for example (named for a famous Aussie poet), is decorated in blue-and-gold brocade and has a hot tub. The Dame Nellie Melba suite is the most spacious and has French doors opening onto a private balcony. Guests have complimentary access to the nearby St. Kilda Salt Water Sea Baths, a complex with a large pool, hydrotherapy spa, and steam room.
