Melbourne's tiniest and possibly quaintest hotel occupies a converted 1850s bakery. The six beautifully furnished rooms have private bathrooms and are decorated with artworks from around the world. New owners have brightened up the rooms with fresh coats of paint, new air conditioners, and the latest digital TVs. Guests without computers can check their e-mail using the office laptop. Homemade breakfasts—including fruit, smoked trout, sausage, bacon, eggs, and toast—are a real highlight.

Very friendly host and the overall atmosphere was great, feels like home and a great breakfast to boot! Very Spacious room. However, a couple of things that could be improved on i.e. small things we noticed: 1)We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn't tidied up in between the two days 2)the furniture was a bit dusty and the room and staircase could do with more/regular hoovering 3)The bathroom bin wasn't emptied from previous occupant. Overall, Recommended
