Set right next to Fitzroy Gardens and opposite St. Patrick's Cathedral, this elegant hotel overlooks some of the city's most beautiful historic buildings. Warm colors, rich wood paneling, and art deco-style furnishings adorn the rooms—all of which have walk-in wardrobes, king-size beds, Italian marble bathrooms, and roomy, modern work spaces. Suites are even more luxurious, some with fireplaces, terraces, and hot tubs. The seven-level radii restaurant and bar is artsy and chic; and contemporary artworks by international talents are on exhibit throughout the hotel (some are for sale).

The Park Hyatt Melbourne was a very nice hotel. The minimalist rooms were very comfortable although not huge and the bathroom was very nice. Nice use of wood in the rooms. The hotel was certainly better than most, but not as good as some. The service could have been better, especially in the dining room and the food was not exceptional. Overall the stay was pleasant and enjoyable.
