Melbourne Restaurant Reviews

Melbourne teems with top-quality restaurants, particularly in St. Kilda, South Yarra, the Docklands, and the Waterfront City precinct. Lygon Street is still a favorite with those who love great coffee and bakeries. The city center also has many back-alley coffee shops for first-class java and pastries. Reservations are generally advised, and although most places are licensed to sell alcohol, the few that aren't usually allow you to bring your own. Lunch is served noon-2:30, and dinner is usually 7-10:30. A 10% tip is customary for exemplary service, and there may be a corkage fee in BYO restaurants.
