Voyages Lizard Island

Fodor's Review:

One of Australia's premier resorts, this property has stylishly appointed beachside suites and sumptuous villas with sail-shaded decks and views of the turquoise bay, as well as an elegant pavilion on the point. The large, comfortable rooms, decorated in oceanic blues, sand, and white, have polished wood floors and blinds, ceiling fans, CD players, and private verandas. An on-site spa offers a range of health and beauty treatments, as well as relaxing massages. The Departure Lounge, overlooking the pool, incorporates Azure day spa, a compact gym, and a guest lounge with TV, video, and free broadband Internet access. Meals, included in the rate, change daily, and emphasize seafood and tropical fruits; dinner here might be coral trout with passionfruit sauce. An excellent wine list complements the menu.
