Fodor's Review:

A short walk over the hill from Palm Bay, this family-focused resort might as well be on an entirely different island. This is not the place to commune quietly with nature, because the resort focuses on outdoor activities, particularly water sports, and group-oriented fun. Although the no-cost kids' club is meant to enable adults to enjoy their leisure time, the program is adjourned from noon to 5 PM, which means there are lots of little ones running around. At night, entertainment might be karaoke, live music, a beach party, a trivia night, casino, or "hyper" games. Guests in air-conditioned beachfront and garden-view rooms have extra mod cons, balconies, and three daily buffet-style meals included in their rate; guests in the fan-cooled budget lodges must fend for themselves. Order a picnic hamper from the licensed café and escape the crowd. The island and the resort are easily accessed via ferry, launch, and two airports, making it a great base for island-hopping.
