Canberra and its surrounding neighborhoods have comfortable, modern accommodations with basic room facilities and on-site activities. Most rooms have color TVs, coffee- and tea-making equipment, and refrigerators, and you can usually request hair dryers, irons, and other implements for personal grooming. Larger hotels have laundry and dry-cleaning services; hotels without these services usually have laundry facilities. Most hotels also have no-smoking rooms or floors, which you should be sure to reserve ahead of time.
