This corrugated iron-clad hostel used to be Alice's open-air cinema, and a wonderful old projector in the communal lounge-cum-kitchen is a reminder of the property's colorful history (as are regular outdoor movie nights). Today international travelers swap tales around a small, grassy pool area adjacent to the two-story main accommodation block, where doors open into bright, spotless four-, six-, and eight-bed dorms, all with shared bath. The older 16-bed dorm is behind the main building. There are two double rooms, two twin rooms, and two family rooms for travelers who prefer fewer bunk mates.
