The South Australian Visitor and Travel Centre, open weekdays 8:30-5 and weekends 9-2, has specialist publications and tourism brochures on South Australia and excellent hiking and cycling maps.

Sightseeing South Australia is a comprehensive monthly newspaper (there's also an extensive Web site) with feature articles on current events, destinations, and experiences throughout the whole state. It's free at most tourist outlets, hotels, and transportation centers.

City Guides, wearing signature green shirts and white hats, stroll around Rundle Mall, Victoria Square, and North Terrace. They can help with lots of tourist information and some brochures.

The Discover Adelaide Card gives you up to 50% off admission at 13 top Adelaide attractions. Cards are available from local travel agencies and through BASS (Best Available Seating Service).

The Adelaide Hills Visitor Information Centre is open weekdays 9-5 and weekends 10-4.
