Right across the way from the Parliament buildings sits this landmark watering hole, where politicians seek out a cold beer after a hot debate. The walls have become a gallery of political cartoons and puppets tweaking government characters and well-known sports figures. The menu is never conservative, and you won't have to "labour" over the prices. The popular vote goes to the fresh steamed mussels tossed in salsa verde. Just don't slurp your soup; you could be sitting next to the prime minister.

This was the perfect place to have a nice late lunch. Staff are nice, mood of the building is very welcoming, and the food was great!RATING: 4.2
