Fodor's Review:
A well-respected institution on the Wellington dining scene, this old colonial-style house conveys both tradition and warmth. Chef Chris Green whips up dishes such as herb-and-pepper-crusted salmon with creamed sweet corn and red pepper. On the dessert list, keep an eye out for the lemon tart with yogurt sorbet.

After 30 hours of traveling from Canada, we came straight here for dinner. Food was very good, staff very friendly, and the building is very comfortable. One of my favorite restaurants in NZ.RATING: 5.0
