Fodor's Review:
This guesthouse and backpackers lodge will spoil you for all others. The grand old house in Trafalgar Square, just off the main street of Nelson, feels more like a boutique hotel than a typical hostel, with its rich brocade fabrics, soundproof rooms, and immaculate bathrooms with high-pressure showers. Room setups vary from doubles with private baths to dorm rooms; linen is provided. The balconies overlook the cathedral and its gardens.

- In-room: no a/c, no phone, no TV.
- In-hotel: restaurant, bar.
