Walking through the door of the Bead Gallery, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number and range of beads around you. The owner gets his beads from all around the world, with a good selection of Pacific and New Zealand beads and pendants as well. Paua shell is big, and there are local greenstone beads and shells from distant islands, not to mention ceramic, wood, bone, porcelain, Swarovski crystal, semiprecious, bone, horn, porcelain, and glass beads from far-flung countries. You can put a strand together at a worktable or buy separate beads to take with you.
